We need machines that can learn descriptions and concepts at multiple levels if we're ever going to have AGI capable of understanding the world. In machine learning and AI, we are forever challenged by trying to get machines to model physical reality at different levels of description using an interoperable set of tools. And it's not a big problem in practice because our brain never needs to do these many things to produce infinity. It happens everywhere when you live in a world made up of too many parts to crown.
