How Can FTX File for Chapter 11?
There is a lot of international relations and international diplomacy in place here. Many sort of jurisdictions that have very fairly developed legal structures have signed up to something called the insetrial model law in cross-border insolvency. The Bahamas is not a party to that so we're kind of going back to default you know default common law rules as to who gets the claim jurisdiction but at the same time the US is often able to claim very white jurisdiction when it comes to filing for chapter 11.
