Lucy and her husband bought a house in 2001 for eighty nine thousand dollars. They were excited to renovate it with little planning they embarked on six months of craziness. The couple have been tempted to move over the years and upsize like they see others do. But financially speaking staying put makes sense if they moved they would pay a lot more  and take on a bigger mortgage, says Lucy.
