"I have to deny everything about myself in order to do simply a technical rewriting job on this screenplay and I mustn't interfere with the original thematic ideas," she says. "You don't want to be delivering something which is either a half-hearted attempt by yourself not to get them actually involved or a whole-hearted re-evaluation of the story." She adds: "It's always a responsibility to produce your job to get these discussions open and to do it as a word keep the development on the right track but you know somewhere along the line that dramatic discussion has not been hacked"
