How Many Days a Week in the Office Is Optimum?
A day a week is optimal, but what we're doing in this model is bunching those days a week together. Because then, not only is that time together more intentional and social - it also allows people to work from anywhere for the rest of the quarter. If you have to go to an office one day a week n london every week, then you cannot live in manchester. But if you have to going to london once a quarter and be in london with your team once a month or once a quarter, you can live in Manchester. So part of that savings can be invested in arranging for the travel of the teams.
