The Optimist's Guide to Succeeding

I was a youth pastor for 22 years before I was in Congress, which terrifies some people that a youth pastor is in Congress at this point. But yeah, I would go right back to working with students and families. Thrill of victory people are your optimist, class half full. A victory really motivates them to go out and succeed more. Uh, agony of the feet people, um, you know, like Michael Jordan, success for them last a minute but any slight, any failure, any mistake is something they carry with them forever. And they use that as a motivation, uh, to never lose again.
