Why Do We Need These Particles?

The universe is made up of tiny particles called nutrinos. They are not stable, so they can't hang out for a long time. But there's lots of ways in which these particles really strongly influence the structure of the universe and our everyday lives. And we certainly need them because they're clues that will help us figure out what's going on underneath.
