The Negative Perceptions of China

In 2018, 45% of people thought that China might present a military threat to Australia in the next two decades. In 2022, that had jumped to 75%. And then this year, it's exactly the same 75%. So do you think that seems to indicate that at least at some level, some of those negative attitudes or hostility, suspicion towards bashems, skepticism, however you want to turn it? That's right. I think a point that you've made as well in many of your media interviews, but since then, is also that some attitudes to China are now much more deeply ingrained in Australia and much more baked in. Most of those are negative perceptions of China.
