Prediction Markets - The Potential Domain Where They Can Be Used
The potential domain which prediction markets can influence or be helpful and is extremely vast. The first obvious examples that people think of when they think of prediction markets are predicting elections. You could predict the outcome of various product initiatives or strategies for high-level executives. An even crazier idea is to create smaller markets for you to bet on your friends on things like whether you'll get married, whether your friends will have kids, et cetera. They're just like a huge number of domains where prediction markets could be applied, but currently aren't.
