The Insurgency Phase of the Iraq War

Amir: I see Iranians who like in their heart want to be like accepted by the West. They wanted a rich, like a resource rich, large burgeoning country that they can control and it just so happened to be a neighbor to one of their biggest mortal threats. So much of the violence is not part of the invasion of Iraq, but it's in the subsequent. Military conquest is one phase. And after it comes the economic, social, cultural and political dominance.
