Seven Years Old, Is That Your First Experience With God?

I would sing for the church and we were on easter sunday. We sang this song about jesus dying for our sins when I was like six or seven. That was my first like real emotional personal encounter with god as a person. As he got older there was such a heavy emotionalism to faith that it wasn't satisfying me. He wanted more proof of Jesus Christ than just what he had been told by his parents, so he started from scratch in an attempt to find out who he really was.
