Kill Whales and the Languages of the Dolphins
Kill whales practice by surging on to a really steep beach so the calve can get back easily, and also where there are no seals. In dolphin guages, they have exactly the same laws as all human languages. The most common words in any language occur about ten times more than the second most common. They reckon that they'regong to use it to work out if aliens are trying to contact us. If we get any of signals from space, we won't know it's a language or it just could be random. But if we can work it out, like dolphins, that it has this kind of zips law, that's very well.
