The Importance of Inclusion in Design

Working in the UK government really sort of open my eyes to some of these assumptions that I carried around what constitutes a name, you know. We often design forms in the UK with a kind of first name, last name structure. So we're not always giving people the space to express themselves within our services when we're introducing those assumptions. It reminds me of the Microsoft inclusion scale where they talk about kind of designing for disability.
