The sandwich generation is when you're trying to plan financially for your own retirement and your children and your parents simultaneously. How would you rank these priorities financially? I assume children do change the calculus, but anything specific that you would note there or maybe for someone who's not going to have children. But this is the thing, I always put my children's education first. Even at my own expense.
