The Double Jeopardy Clause

The double jeopardy clause says you can never be tried against for that crime again. If the jury comes back not guilty, the judge never has to rule on the motion for acquittal because the case is over. "It would take a singularly malevolent judge candidate to plot to grant this motion," he said.
