How to Choose the Right Anti-Hypertensive for Your Patient
There is a difference between those with acute ischemic and acute hemorrhagic stroke. We want to make sure that our patients aren't going too low or too high on their sugars. Aortic dissection or in those pregnant patients, preeclampsia or ecclampsia would count for anti-hypertensive treatment. There's been a small amount of work done on anti-Hypertensives pre-hospital as well. The European Stroke Organization said that they recommended that treatment of high blood pressure in people suspected of acute stroke is not recommended. Thromboliasis can be treated by thrombectomy up to six hours after onset of symptoms but we're still considering
