The President's Pardon for Cannabis Possession
Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on a late night talk show following the president's decision to pardon anybody who has a federal conviction for cannabis possession. The vast majority of marijuana convictions are done at a state or a local level, so what they're doing now is trying to encourage governors to do the same thing. While the president may refuse to comply, it provided a dramatic end to what could be the last hearing of this committee.
