The Unconscious Biases That Held Back the Big Bang

Lumetra was a Belgian astronomer who essentially proved Einstein wrong because he proposed that the universe was expanding. And when he suggested it to Einstein, Einstein said, you got to be kidding me. For Einstein and for almost all of us contemporaries, it was just too weird to be true. The very term Big Bang was not used by Lumetra himself, but by somebody trying to express how ridiculous the idea was.
