Peace would be like an absence of conflict, a sens of contentedness. A life lacking drama and turmoil would be having an enemy at peace with us. Proverbs phrases that do tend to be true but they are not guarantees. There is a connection between rebellion and god going, all right, i will let you have those consequences.
We live in a world defined by conflict. Whether it’s war among nations, arguments over politics, or even strife within the body of Christ, tensions run high and patience runs low. Between the external battles people fight with one another and the internal turmoil that steals our serenity, peace feels like a rare and precious commodity. Yet, as we learn from Proverbs 16, God has given us a recipe for genuine peace. Living our lives in a way that pleases Him is the only guaranteed path to peace in our lives and in our world.
