Perfection Theory

Person affecting views try to make rigorous sense of the idea that bringing an extra person into existence is neither good nor bad for that person. Some versions of persons affecting theory will say things like, if a and b have different numbers of people in them, then one version of perston affecting theory would say that a and b are comparable in terms of betterness. It's really hard to do it in a way that doesn't run into either inconsistency or massive incomparability. Yet, there are some interesting sounding ideas that have the person affecting labe attached to them, but it's very unclear what the theory is there.
