What's Going on in the Second Century in London?
Archaeology has had a really big scratch head moment trying to work out what's going on in the second century. It looks to me as if between one third and two thirds of the sites that were properties have been abandoned deserted sometimes just for a few decades then we get new building on top. We're looking at a city of 30 35 000 people shrinking, whether it's a one third contraction or a two thirds contraction you're only going back to where you were at the time of the biddick and revolt.
