The Importance of a Positive Diagnosis of Cirrhosis
The patient is not known to be cirrhotic. Maybe you have some suspicion about it. In that case, would you just err on the side of treating them like a cirrhotic? Yeah, so I think that it all depends on that one liner. And then when I put that camera in her stomach, and if I see something that looks like the stigmata of cirrhosis, varices, boom, she has a diagnosis of Cirrhosis.
