How to Archive Photographs on Flickr

We don't have a definite roadmap for the relationship between Flickr.com today, and what may make its way to Flickr.org at some point. But I think it's perhaps useful to just give some numbers to Flickr. The Flickr Commons collection is only in the millions. There's only a few million photographs from museums and libraries. And then we've got creative commons, which is a copyright license that you can assign to your photographs. It's still early days.
