NVIDIA 286 Graphics Accelerator
I feel that the you can trace the NVIDIA origin story potentially through this project because so NVIDIA folks all came from SGI right. I ported doom to QNEX which was a real-time operating system about that about the same time. In Wolfenstein all the walls were sort of on you know essentially on graph paper right they're all orthogonal to each other and that means certain things are mathematically nice but even earlier games had much lower performance pseudo 3d stuff.
