Excavation Efforts at Hill 80 and Return of Stolen Artifacts

This chapter discusses the excavation of Hill 80, a German stronghold from World War I, where the remains of 110 individuals were found. It also explores the repatriation of stolen relief carvings from Persepolis, as well as looted artifacts from Iraq and a stolen bronze statue of Buddha returned to India. Additionally, the chapter touches on the trend of returning stolen artworks, but not those that have been in Western institutions for a longer period of time.
