The Signal Versus the Noise

The more often that you check a system, the more likely you are to receive noise or things that don't really matter. The author definitely comes across as a cantankerous old man frequently in this book. But what he's saying is that the more that you check it, the less likely you're going to get the information that you want. Or what's actually happening.
