The Biblical Marriage of Adam and Eve

There is no Hebrew word for husband. It doesn't exist. There's also no word in the Hebrew language for wife. When you read in the Bible, in the Old Testament scriptures, anything about someone being the wife of someone, it doesn't say wife. It says the woman. And here's another bomb I want to drop. This one comes directly from Jennifer Bird. She's the one that I first heard this from and just blew my mind. The arrangement was essentially a biblical marriage in theOld Testament is essentially slavery because the man owns the woman.
