The Taliban Is Coming and I'm Going to Leave Afghanistan
America's nearly two decade long involvement in Afghanistan is coming to an abrupt and chaotic end. The president who just yesterday vowed to keep fighting fled the country. And the Afghan government essentially collapsed. That was the day I decided I'm going to leave. I never imagined that the Taliban is coming and I'm leaving the country.
