Using Natural Language Processing to Interact With a Machine

The goal of natural language processing is to be able to take queries and commands that were either written or spoken in everyday human language. In reality, a natural language processor has to identify all the components of a query and then respond in a way that's most likely to be relevant. For example, if I were to ask a smart speaker, what's the weather in Walt Disney World today? It would have to understand that I've got a location I've given. That's an incredible amount of work going on in the back end.
