The Animal Shelter

Ira Glass: Clarence Hicks and another animal man carried five big plastic barrels of animals into the truck, 50 or 60 animals in all. The next stop for us was the animal shelter, where ordinary people bring their animals to be put to sleep, as they say. You see people who are going to cry. You'll be surprised about the animals. People are really crazy about animals. It's a sad thing.
