The Importance of a Dynamic Grip in Churchill's Life

Chamberlain's still associated with the Peasement and policies of late 1930s. Now at this particular point in the war, looking for somebody who's got more of a dynamic grip, Chamberlain's possibly not that person. Is it unfair that we paint Chamberlain as the great apeaser? It is to a degree because he was seeking a way of avoiding another conflict similar to the First World War. You can understand why that's the case, what he's trying to achieve.
