Shurume: I was trying to, how will I write? Tumjala. Another defining memory is my coming to Delhi after I got a scholarship and reading people like Dom Mureis, Kushwan Singh. For me, shurume, it was more about the question of the self had not entered - which you have very right to say is the real point. It was more about finding a language that was adequate to the surroundings I was.
