What's the Worst-Case Scam in Real Estate?

From 1970 to 1980, home prices tripled because essentially the cost of construction and the cost of goods went up so much. That's what inflation did to stocks. And today you could not build a home for $150 a square foot. It costs you $175. And I bet you next year cost you 200. So as long as the new supply is coming in as more expensive to build than the old supply, up to a point, it's just not a risk. I think it's a benefit. We saw that in the last 20 years that growth drives more growth,. More people moving, more new businesses, more new coffee shops across the Sun Belt.
