A company called Hilti is a large global organization that provides tools and equipment into into the construction industry. They developed a metric which they were using to measure how long it was before someone who they recruited someone had paid for all the hiring recruiting onboarding, getting them up to speed,. Paid this cost back and was starting to earn money for the company. And at the time, their time to productivity for newly hired sales managers was around 18 months. Over a period about about two years that that time to productivity came down from well above a year to about three months for about well three months or I think about 75% of the sales managers.
