The Iraq War and the Anthrax Scare
After 9 11, America as a collective psychological unit went psychotic. I remember the days after and it was absolutely like absolute savagery of the most debased kind imaginable. And nowadays being against the Iraq war is what the Republicans and the Democrats have to saylike even Trump was like, it was a terrible war. It was a mistake in those days saying even the slightest, most mild, moderate criticism of the Iraq war or the surge or anything that could be possibly construed as even mild criticism of the American war machine.
