The Three Types of Serendipity
Sally Kohn: I love that it's a very scientific and research backed approach into something that I would have previously considered to be almost magic. And part of what I really appreciated about it is, is in part, it's kind of like a case for being more deeply curious about the world. She says there are three types of serendipity - smart luck, serendipitousness and counterfactuals. "I see something in the unexpected and then I connect the dots, I do something with it," she says.
