The prison paradox, which is a real term that was coined by jon steaman, is that actually putting more people in jail does not reduce crime. And so i'm wondering, you know, what could be the alternative to the system that we have now for men to be a loved and and connected with each other?
Writer, speaker, and a living example of transformation, Eldra Jackson III shares his personal journey of what led to hitting rock bottom and rehabilitating his life. Eldra invites us to embrace self-awareness, accountability and empathy, or as he refers to it, “human work.” While incarcerated, his transformation was made possible by the community of Inside Circle, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating spaces for healing for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people. Now, he is the Co-Executive Director, dedicated to helping others find their own path to redemption. With riveting openness and kindness, Eldra shares personal stories and insights from his unique journey that help us all to begin healing ourselves and each other.
