You can't get compensated for that time but if they were to arrange redelivery which meant you would have to take extra time off not the original time. There is an argument that within limits you could charge them for your lost day at work because of the second day off that you had to take. It isn't simple but it is a very useful piece of information when you're negotiating with the firm about what your rights are.
