The Power of Snow

Snow is silent, powerful and deadly in the same way that like the desert or the ocean or a mountain is. Some people want to make camp and hope for this to pass, or just say, we're not going to make it. They don't have any food left, so everybody's just stuck here. At some point they're eating their shoes, like they boil the leather from their shoes to eat. Take the bones of the oxen and they boil them and drink the broth,. And then, you know, they're eating the mush of the bones. Sometimes the bones arerlly turned into dust that they eat because there's just nothing.
