How to Speed Run in Minecraft

In Minecraft, speed running circles, there's been a big controversy over a YouTube and video game streamer named Dream. And this controversy was that this player dream was way luckier than the statistics indicate they possibly could be. So getting through the speedruns is just a test of how lucky you are, which is just randomness. But I'm also, I don't want to rule out people who are just better at seizing opportunities.
