The Value of Insider Behavior in SPACs
V-Book went public through a SPAC, which is often what science project companies like to do. Not to say there aren't real companies that do it; Boolero and Chinook Therapeutics have done well. But coming back to V-Book, I decided to short it through put options because I didn't want to get caught in a mean situation where it's suddenly caught rubled in price. It forced me to sell. And sure enough, it's down to Pennies, a few years that was brought in to potentially turn on the company has decided to leave.
