Hippocrites believed that women's bodies were not really their own, so therefore they couldn't speak o what was happening in their bodies. That is the basis of women being ignored, distrusting, if doubted, inthe doctors surgery. Women are overly associated with body nurse, but it's not a body nurse that women own they don't have rational control over. You know, theyve these myths have had real sticking power over the centuries, and they've almost been baked in too medical knowledge as science progresses.
A deeply embedded idea in our culture is the sexist notion that men are the “default” human, and women the unknowable “other". Nowhere is this more visible than in the history of medicine, with disastrous consequences for women’s’ health.
