Is That the Prophecy of the Morally Ought?
I thought she wanted to purge ought of the morally ought and resurrect or at least preserve an understanding of ought that has to do with flourishing. She calls us ordinary aughts, which are prudential but not normally think of as having moral force. So if I want to lose weight, I ought to eat right. But the odd of justice and injustice, I thought, was a ought regarding flourishing that was not associated with a moral ought.
