Obesity is treated pretty differently from other conditions in that there isn't like sort of routine regular coverage for weight loss drugs. We surveyed all 50 states, Medicaid plans, and only roughly 11 states provided broad coverage for B.C. Drugs are not cheap; depending on which specific drugs you're talking about, they can cost more than $10,000 a year.
