The Importance of Mass in Economics

There is still too much of a sense in society, and I'm women, that economics is a boys thing. Investing doesn't care if you're male or female; money doesn't care with your male or female partner. When we get less paid than blokes, those two things together add up to lower earnings. Sometimes taking time out of the workforce to raise kids and that kind of stuff can have an impact on how well-paid people are able to make ends meet. It's not okay but it is what it is.
