"I'd worked with Greg on a couple of films before and we'd had to come up with solutions for unconventional ways of shooting things," he says. "He actually cared about all the aspects you know he was frustrated that it wasn't working well for sound because he saw that as a kind of handicap of this um system" The set they built for the Mandalorian in Manhattan Beach studios is now being used by Star Wars: Episode VII, which premieres December 18th at 9 p.m. ET/PT (9pm BST)
