The Roots of the Criminal Justice System
20 20 was an accelerationist moment that a lot of this was cooking and was sort of inevitably going to become main stream. The roots of it, sort philosophically, d intellectually, go back decades. And i think the criminal justice system became, not irrationally, seen as an instrument of america's raceism or oppression. That really changed when everyone got selphone cameras. It gave people a chance to viserally react to something that they only knew sort of intellectually or from their own experiences, but had never been able to share with the masses.
