When you do a search for awards, the results don't show all of the taxes and fees that are going to be imposed. So if you see $150 in taxes and fees on United dot com, actually, you should look at United, not Air Canada. Singapore is an option you might consider because the award prices are usually high. If you're somebody who counts on customer service, you have a better shot at good customer service with Singapore.
