The Challenges in the Life of the Church

JD: We don't want to make a show where we're just sort of every time like, can you believe this crisis? It's a terrible crisis. That doesn't seem like an interesting show to us. And yet as we look at the honest to God situation and the life of the church right now between bishops, we see increasing, serious and significant, unabated theological controversy that is basically going unaddressed. J.D.: There are many, many cool and good things that are happening in thelife of the church. But there is also a compounding profound and continuing theological controversy in the church that is not abating, but instead is growing.
