The Importance of Supply Chain Resilience

I think you have to focus really on three areas. And the first is supply chain resilience and not giving it, you know, an authoritarian hostile power. The second areas we shouldn't be helping the PLA to develop the weapons systems they might use to kill our grandchildren. And the third area is that we should not, through our economic and trade relationships, be enabling genocide or the perfection of the technologically enabled or well in police state. But the problem is Xi Jinping is determined to decouple on his own terms. So the space for that kind of economic discourse even is shrinking regardless of what we decide to do.
